Meet With Our Cosmetic Dental Expert

Hello, I’m Dr. Arefeh Lotfi. For over 14 years, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people achieve the smiles they’ve always wanted. In that time, I’ve had the opportunity to care for more than 2,500 patients.

Although I started in periodontology, which deals with gum diseases, I have also attended different kinds of courses in France, Germany, and the Netherlands related to digital, laser, and aesthetic dentistry.

My goal is always to look at the big picture. That means when you come to see me, I’m thinking about how to make your teeth healthy and how to make your smile bright and confident in a way that suits you perfectly.

Let’s work together to create a treatment plan that’s all about you – your health, your smile, and your confidence.

I did Hijama (wet cupping) with Dr Ebtisam Kotkat. I was initially nervous about the treatment, however once I started I could feel the difference. She also gave me an amazing massage and got rid of the knots in my neck. After the treatment, I felt like a new person - refreshed and totally relaxed. I would highly recommend a treatment with Dr Kotkat.

Teeth Whitening Solutions

Our teeth whitening solutions are specifically designed to enhance the look of your smile, restoring your teeth to their natural, off-white shade. At our dental clinic, we offer both in-office and take-home whitening options, using safe and effective whitening products according to your needs.

Indications

When your teeth have hard stains and discoloration caused by factors like age, certain foods and drinks, or lifestyle habits.

Ideal For

Individuals with healthy teeth and gums with wish for a brighter, more radiant smile that can light up any room.

Complications

Temporary tooth sensitivity is a common side effect, but don’t worry, it usually lasts for just one to two days.

Aftercare

Avoiding certain foods and drinks (black tea, vinegar, cherries), and following proper oral hygiene practices can help maintain your newly whitened, radiant smile for a lifetime.

Dental Veneers and Laminates

Veneers are thin, custom-made shells glued to your teeth’s anterior surfaces, transforming the smile completely. For this purpose, our doctors remove a small amount of tooth enamel and take precise impressions of custom-made veneers that aesthetically match your natural teeth. These are used to correct a wide range of teeth problems, including:

  • Chips
  • Cracks
  • Discoloration
  • Gaps
  • Misshapen teeth
Ideal For

Those with optimal oral health and who want the appearance of their smile to be more noticeable.

Complications
  • Temporary tooth sensitivity
  • Veneers can fracture.
Aftercare

Maintaining oral hygiene and avoiding hard foods can help extend the lifespan of your veneers.

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding is an innovative cosmetic procedure that involves applying a tooth-colored resin material to the surface of your teeth. We use lasers to harden the resin and increase its durability. This treatment is used for solving the following teeth problems:

  • Minor chips
  • Cracks, or discoloration
  • Close gaps between teeth
  • Reshape misshapen teeth
Complications

After the bonding procedure, you might feel:

  • Bonding material chipping
  • Gradual Teeth staining
Aftercare

Maintain overall mouth hygiene by brushing and flossing and avoid habits like teeth grinding or consuming staining foods and beverages.

Invisalign and Orthodontic Treatments

Invisalign and other orthodontic treatments use clear, removable aligners or traditional braces (ceramic, metal, and lingual) to gently shift your teeth into the proper natural position. These are used to correct misaligned, crowded, or gapped teeth, improving both the aesthetic appeal and functionality of your smile.

Ideal For

Patients with good oral hygiene but having problems like:

  • Overbites
  • Underbites
  • Crossbites
  • General misalignment
Treatment Procedure

For Invisalign, you wear a set of custom aligners for about two weeks at a time. They slowly move your teeth into the right spot. Also, traditional braces use small brackets and wires to gently push your teeth where they need to be over time.

Complications
  • Temporary discomfort
  • Difficulty in teeth cleaning
  • Root resorption (shortening of tooth roots)
Aftercare

Wearing retainers as prescribed is necessary to maintain your newly aligned smile after treatment.

Gum Contouring and Reshaping

Gum contouring, also known as gum reshaping or gingival sculpting, modifies the gum line to create a more balanced and symmetrical smile. If you have excessive gum tissue (a gummy smile) or uneven gum lines, revealing too much of your natural tooth structure, then this treatment could be ideal for you.

Complications

Gum restoring and reshaping procedures have a minimal risk of temporary swelling, discomfort, or bleeding.

Follow Up Care

For the most satisfactory healing, make sure to follow the instructions after your operation. This means keeping up with your oral hygiene, eating soft foods, rinsing with saline water, not smoking, and being gentle with your brushing for the first 2-3 days post-procedure.

Frequently Asked Question

Typically, dental veneers have 5 to 10 years of longevity. But you can maximize it by maintaining proper oral hygiene and avoiding habits like teeth grinding.

Dental bonding is the most common and efficient treatment for repairing minute chips, cracks, and teeth gaps.

No, it’s not compulsory. But sometimes, your hygienist may prescribe teeth whitening before placing veneers for a uniform appearance.

Different aesthetic procedures have different recovery times. For example, simple procedures like teeth whitening and veneers require 3 to 4 hours.

No cosmetic treatment is not painful. The reason is that modern dentistry’s main concern is to provide patients with maximum comfort. So, professionals use local anesthesia during the procedure to minimize the discomfort.
